Snow Day v2

Almost 6 inches of snow on our deck (the news claims 8 in Webster Groves but we all know how they LIE) and our cars are covered back up.
Trying to decide if I want to clean off the car and make the trek to work (with one broken windshield wiper) or try to work from home again today after yesterday's incredibly unsuccessful attempt.
All schools are canceled; can't work be, too?

Marshmallows

Lauren is hanging out with us tonight for pizza, a movie (twister, drew's choice), and roasted marshmallows/smores from the fireplace.

Rock on Saturday night, rock on.

Home Sweet Home

HGTV is running their annual "Dream Home" sweeps and this year the house is located in Sonoma, California.  Needless to say, I've been entering diligently every day for my chance to win a gorgeous house with a vineyard in sunny CA!

I am a huge fan of Etsy and other online stores that offer adorable handmade items for both adults and kids.  With the new law set to go into effect February 10th, several of these online business will be shutting their doors for good.

Help do something about it.

100

To celebrate the 100th day of the school year, Drew needs to bring in 100 of something on Feb. 4th. Brad came up with the idea of bottle caps and tossed his Budweiser cap into a bowl. We managed to score another 79 caps at Nacho Mamas last night so we are 11 shy of our goal.

I think Brad has it in him for another 11 beers before the due date.

My bigger worry is the beer caps - is it wrong to send a kindergartner to school with 100 of them?

Something Has Gone Missing

Look who lost his first tooth yesterday!
Apparently there was a playground altercation with a few of his pals and his tooth was knocked loose.
No one could find the tooth, however we left a note for the tooth fairy under Drew's pillow and he woke up to $1!
